This seems amusing, but I wouldn't want to go to a tournament with a strategy that revolves around ramping ten mana in five colors and activating a single artifact. As a rule of thumb, don't play a deck that has a single, vital card, otherwise a clever side-board will wreck you.
Holy crap Gem of Becoming is amazing. Most people wont understand its true value, but in vintage and legacy its going to be nuts as its able to dig out the real duals. That said, this is the better of the 5 Door decks ive seen in the past few days. Youre splashing green for ramp which is the way you have to play it and arent leaving yourself entirely in the wind to do it. Nice. Hope it plays out. Nice, but composite golem works incredibly with door to nothingness, so you dont need to have 10 mana to use it. You should check out my fast infect win deck, i'm open to any suggestions if you have any. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=355409
