Deck Description

First attempt at a deck...

I have adjusted based the first 3 comments...

The side board as I have it planed now would come in due to the removal of Coat of Arms, Pennon Blade, and the Alpha Status.

Deck discussion for Test Elf

Pennon Blade and Alpha Status are nice, don't get me wrong, but they are a bit of overkill in my opinion. Many of the elves you have already possess the built in +/+ ability. I would instead use those 6 card slots to focus on speed (maybe some Nature's Lore or Wild Growths) to get your elves out even faster. This way you will overwhelm your opponent before he has time to think.

You might also consider Overruns in case some formidable defense stands in your way.

add 4 Priest of Titania, and some Eldrazi. take out 2 Rhys the Exiled (b/c they are legendary) and add in 2 Nissa Ravenea, or watever she's called. Elvish harbinger will help get the elves you need, and Jagged-Scar Archers can get HUGE and will take care of flying. i agree with rlnj83 -- you will need to add Nature's Lore/Wild Growth. and if you add in the Priests, definately through in gelatenous Genisis. i have made a very effective elf mana ramp deck -- it can never has less than 10 mana on turn four -- and would love if you checked it out: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=70168
