Deck Description

This is a casual combo deck centered around Tree of Perdition and Mirror Entity.
I've always loved Tree of Redemption and now I have this to play with, I figured I'd build a deck around it.
That said, I sorta just threw decent-looking white/black creatures in to support the combo so any advice on the other cards is welcome.

How to Play

The centerpiece of the deck is the combo around Tree of Perdition and Mirror Entity.
An ideal game would look like this:
Turn 1 - Play Land, play Nip Gwyllion
Turn 2 - Play Land, play Blood Artist
Turn 3 - Play Land, play Mirror Entity
Turn 4 - Play Land, play Tree of Perdition
Turn 5 - Play Land
Activate Mirror Entity's ability for 1, setting your entire field to 1/1.
Activate Tree of Perdition's ability, setting your opponent's life total to 1.
Activate Mirror Entity's ability for 4, setting your entire field to 4/4.
Attack with your 3 available creatures.
One of three things happen:
-Your opponent blocks and kills nothing, in which case you activate Mirror Entity's ability for 0 and wipe out your field so Blood Artist can kill your opponent.
-Your opponent blocks and kills something, in which case Blood Artist kills your opponent.
-Your opponent doesn't block, in which case they die.

Of course, that's doesn't require you to use the combo in its entirety - you could attack for lethal after pumping everyone to 3/3 or 4/4 with Mirror Entity, for example. The important part of the combo is merely comboing Tree of Perdition with Mirror Entity to immediately set your opponent to 1 life on turn 5.

As for the other cards...
You should use Sin collector to dispose of pesky removal, and Dismember/Unmake to remove threats.
Consider Nip Gwyllion and Edge of the Divinity to make a 4/4 lifelink on turn 2.
High Priest of Penance is an excellent card that will make your opponent not want to attack, and can become a huge threat if not removed.
Blood-Cursed Knight has some wonderful synergy with the Nip Gwyllion combo.
Maralen is an excellent tutor that doesn't really hurt you too much given the amount of life gain in this deck.
Blood Artist is a way to kill your opponent using the Tree combo without attacking.

Deck discussion for Mirror of Perdition

If you played 3 colours (WBG) you could win on turn 4, and this is how:

Turn 1: land, Birds of Paradise
Turn 2: land, another cheap creature with some form of combat evasion (Tormented Soul?)
Turn 2: land, Tree of Perdition
Turn 4: Mirror Entity, activate Mirror's ability for 1, tap the tree, attack with whatever you played on turn two {Tormented Soul}.
OR
Turn 4: land, Mirror Entity, activate Mirror's ability for 1, tap the tree, attack with the now 1/1 Birds of Paradise.
