Deck Description

this deck will basically use a stormtide leviathan to incapacitate the opponents creatures while i bring out big creature for cheap to deal big damage.
I have the myrs in there to help me get the big creatures out if i don't draw quest for Ula's Temple.
there's usually enough control to let me get stormtide out and keep him out.
I'm new to magic so any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Deck discussion for Stormtide Leviathan deck,

Looks good, has a cool concept, but deffinately reduce the main deck down to 60 cards for consistency and have extra cards in your sideboard for swapping in and out of your deck.

so much proliferate for just one card..... idk about some of those..... youd probably be better off with a few nice defenders to stall a bit longer.....

I like the deck! Interesting concept.

I believe you can find something better than Kraken Hatchling out there however. Almost anything would be better. Just off the top of my head you could go with Harbor Serpent. At least with that you get another Islandwalk and he's a 5/5.

if you could pick up some Control Magic to replace the Mind Controls. itll bring down the mana costs, but your mana curve is pretty solid

check out my leviathan deck i've been working on

I liked the idea of this one but tweaked it a little to help get cheaper creatures out to defend you. also, discombobulate is a great substitute to rewind and lets you scry.
