I agree completely, if she had any sort of protection for herself she would have made it into the main deck here.So glad you like this one! This is one of the decks I actually have constructed in full. It's really slow but if people let me go till turn 8 or so it's game over.
After a very long while of this deck sitting stagnant, I've decided to redo it. It use to to be one dimensional and quite honestly unreliable. I've added some cards that allow for a wider variety of choices, dawn charm, evolution charm, and selesnya charm, I figure between those three I can deal with just about any problem that comes by, put those on an isochron scepter and oh boy....the only problem is that I may never draw a creature...lol but of course there's also the possibility that I could draw out the game with all the preventing damage and heroes reunion.I also dropped the price considerably, it was at 98 something or another, now it sits just above 30.Let me know what you think!
I feel like Trostani doesn't offer anything that can't be provided by Vitu-ghazi guildmage. The lifegain when creatures enter is nice, but the guildmage lets you abuse populate with a lot more of your mana. Either way: I feel like Vitu-Ghazi guildmage would be a welcome addition to the deck.
