Deck Description

Been playing since M13/RTR. This deck is about Removal & Attack. Each non-removal card in the deck works well together. The counters add up quick! If Corpsejack is out when Kalonian enters, life is good. If Corpsejack is out with the Archangel, the Ooze gets get's big as the angel makes everyone else big. Overall it's all about remove, grow, gain life, and attack!

How to Play

See Deck Description. I believe my sideboard will help me to deal with lots of potential decks as well. The High Priest will help with Planeswalkers, I'm set for facing Black/White with the Blood Barons, and Fiendslayer is great against Red/Black.

Deck discussion for Junk Standard (Theros Ready)

Started playing around M13/RTR. Comments certainly welcome. I feel like I have lots of 5-drops and may need to replace a few with lower-costing creatures, but I'm not sure yet.

The only reason I think you have too many 5 drops is the lack of acceleration/ramp. I would try to use 6-8 mana dorks, namely elvish mystics or avacyns pilgrim. I know pilgrim is rotating, but he's your best bet to make this work. If you are hellbent on avoiding innistrad, manaweft sliver is good enough on its own to avoid the sliver shell, and can effectively be a farseek in many cases. To make room I would drop 2 blood baron (moving 1 to the sideboard and losing the other altogether) one or two scavenging ooze (again, moving to the sideboard wouldn't hurt), a selesnya charm, and a few abrupt decays or doomblades. Hope this helped, good luck

Well, I changed my deck quite a bit since my original post. The Corpsejack Menace addition has been working out great! The deck is currently 7-1 (got mana-screwed once.) I think this deck is great now, but come rotation it'll be very tough to deal with. Thanks for the advice!
