Deck Description

Company-less Abzan Company. It's far more of an all-in combo, and a bit more of a glass cannon -- but if you love that decktype this deck has potential to win you games.

My goal was to keep it FNM competitive at around $100. The sideboard is not included in this price, since it should be created specifically for your meta -- in collaboration with others.

Deck discussion for (Budget) Persist Combo

The 'normal' version of this deck runs Melira, Sylvok Outcast; and I think I may have found a budget friendly replacement for her: Ivy Lane Denizen. Just like Anafenza's bolster effect removes the Persist -1/-1 counter, Ivy Lane Denizen's effect will also remove it. It may cost more mana, but it is a lot cheaper $ wise.

Looking at your land base, I suggest adding a set of Evolving Wilds, it'll help a LOT with getting the correct colour mana.

I play the full Abzan Company deck in modern. This was mainly just geared towards a *very* budget version of this deck. The Evolving Wilds aren't a terrible idea, but I don't think stretching the manabase out to 3 colors makes sense in this cheap a deck.

If you wanted to brew up something with green, I'd wager you can find a balance between this and the next more expensive version of this deck that I've made. http://www.mtgvault.com/grelwing/decks/budget-abzan-company/
