Deck discussion for Splinterfright

Perhaps add a splash of black via dual lands? I see Swamps, but their sole purpose appears to be for Forbidden Alchemy. If you used Woodland Cemeteries and perhaps a Drowned Catacomb or two, you'd still get that black, and you'd have that much more green and blue, respectively.

When I did the lands, I had Spider Spawning in the mainboard, but woodland cemetery and drowned catacomb are great suggestions. I have a limited budget, but those cards are both reasonable. Thanks for the advice!

Interesting. Looks like a brute force attack with fatties. Of course, you know I'm a huge fan of Rancor and that's a card that immediately comes to mind. I think the trample will help them break thru into the red zone. Also, Artful Dodge may be interesting. Finally, it might be nice to have some spot removal. So, here's my initial swag:

-2 Virdian Emmisary, +2 Ulvenwald Tracker
-1 Wreath, -1 Bonehoard, -1 Gnaw to the Bone, +3 Rancor

What do you think of the sideboard?

Rancor is similar to Bonehaord and Wreath, but both of those pump much more. The trade off is trample, which is what I need on my Wurms. I prefer Rancor to Wreath in the early game, or in control situations, I think I may have to sideboard it.

As far as the Emissary is concerned, I definitely prefer him, because I just want to use him to get some mana and kill an early weenie.

Bonehoard doesn't count as a creature in your graveyard and it costs 4. So, I'd be looking to replace that with Wolfir Silverheart. Jace might also provide some fuel, but he's a 5 drop. As for the sideboard, I'm more in favor of Crushing Vines right now than the Natualize beause of it's ability to drop delver, angels, nighthawk, etc. I'm also a huge fan of Memoricide in the SB because you can exile watever card you want.
