I know your feeling... but this one made some easy wins vs mageblade, tokens and wolframp with huntmaster.

all I had to do was work with my sideboard.

4 bombs also nuked any BW token attempt.

but thanks for your support anyway.

solar flare gave me some problems, but then combo triggered and got the last victory.

have you tested this deck against a blue black mill deck or red burn ?

yes, I had it tested. Wichbane orb gives me hexproof, so I cant be target of spells or effects, wich gives me time enought to kill em (vs mill) or slow down the red deck deck (since it will force him to nuke my creatures and they are just comming back again and again).

I like the deck. Have you considered adding Mikaeus, the Unhallowed? He can wreck some face with black sun's zenith and diregraf captain (just do it for enough to kill the lesser guys, do it for the garaunteed damage via captain and then they come back via undying).

You mentioned that solar flare gives you some problems, what about side boarding grafdigger's cage and siding out the havengul lich? You could even work in some zombie apocalypses so that you get the recurrence but not actually casting them from the graveyard. Plus zombie apocalypse can wreck a humans deck.

Take a look at mine and let me know what you think.

Indeed I could consider Mikaeus yes. But in that ocasion I would probably side out the rooftop with Lich, since it is there for most of time to get a big number of zombies at same time.

About grafdigger,s cage, it cancels the Gravecrawler returning hability also, since it wont let me summon from graveyard, so I wouldnt put it.

Your deck sounds nice also, hows testing going?

Thanks.

Of course, forgot about the gravecrawler. How about nihil spellbomb instead? It's more focused and can still rob them of their snapcaster flashback spells.

could be, but how about 2 more copyes of Surgical extraction?
Ive tested with 2 only, maybe 4 would be the number, and it works very nicely with distress.

Hey, nice deck. Dark Ascension did a lot for Zombies.
Zombies are a medium-paced aggressive deck, but the magic curve for creatures should still be having at least 8-8-8-4, adding on to anything but the 4 spot. It's okay to have some five drops, because the deck isn't like RDW or anything, but I would suggest keeping it about 3. I would drop the Havengul Lichs, as cool as they are.

For the one spot, Gravecrawler and Diregraf Ghoul are the obvious choices, and the ones you made :). Don't be afraid to run 4 ghouls; swinging in with an Isamaru-sized creature turn 2 is great.

For the two spot, Mortarpod is well chosen. I would up it to 3, because it's a great morbid enabler for your tragic slip (of which you should run more... 3?). But you're missing a second two drop. Black Cat + Mortarpod is great, and Black Cat can give card advantage, so I'd suggest that.

Three spot, looks good. Geralf's Messenger is awesome, you might want to make that 4, but no biggie.

Four spot, Obliterator is the no-brainer. Good choice. I think you should run 3, but that's just me.

Spells... You'll want removal, disruption, and card advantage in a black deck.

Removal, you have 1 ratchet bomb, 1 bsz, two geth's verdict, and two tragic slip. I would suggest 2-3 Doom Blade, 2-3 GftT, and 2-3 Tragic Slip. Ratchet Bomb is less immediate, and with a consistent curve, it can wreck your own deck. BSZ is only good for decks with bombs, so you won't want to drop it until after you hit a Grimgrin or something, and then wipe out all else. Not a great choice here, IMO. Doom Blade, GFTT, and Tragic Slip will make much more consistent spot removal.

Disruption and card advantage are the same here, and I think your choice of distress is a fine one. Ponder is cool, too.

Good building, and good luck.

Thanks for the tips, made a little changes. Check my list again. About Havengul lich, Im still testing with it. Might remove it and rooftop later... but Im trying to make it work since it has sooo many synergies and possibilitys.

btw, liked your deck also.

I would honestly be careful with your BSZ, as with the new undying mechanic it really loses its effectiveness, especially with the number of undying pod decks that I have seen (this could just be in my meta however). But i do think some doom blades and some GftTs in the main board would really help you out. I do also like the phyrexian obliterator in here, but i do think that you should maybe run a total of 2x phyrexian obliterators as they can really reck your opponent.

You should check out my deck for an interesting rogue build:

After some advices, made some changes.
Moved ratchet to sb (still hanging with 4 to counter token decks)
moved BSZ to sb as well.

added Phyrexian Obliterator and another ghoul.

Still hanging with Lich for now... after some more tests I might remove 1 lich and rooftop to add some other removals like GftTs or doom blades.

Thanks for the support fellows!!!

IMO...i would dump grimgrin, rooftop storm, and add 3 phantasmal images. the rooftop storm could become 1 more distress and 1 more tragic slip, but I understand why its in there.
Mind giving a look at any of my decks? heres he one ive been playing FNM and steamrolling with
