Deck discussion for Brimaz, King of Zoo

I like your idea, however zoo is way faster then this. If its meant for just fun I like it. If its competitive then this isn't the way it should be. Tribal flames? might of alara? lightning helix?

I think this is just Naya Zoo. Five color zoo would play cards like Tribal Flames and Might of Alara. Lightning Helix though should probably be here. That card is just too good.

Honestly, I think from a competitive standpoint that you just want 2 more tarmogoyfs in place of the Huntmaster. Makes it more agressive with a still solid late game in Domri Rade and Brimaz. This is a sweet zoo deck. Well done!

From playing in gatecrash limited madcap skills is an really awesome card to play with.

this is a modern deck. It wouldn't be as powerful in this type of deck. That's also why I don't like rancor in this deck either.

That's why I only added 2. He has some creature removal, so if he can make it where he only has 1 creature that can possibly block, he is golden.

Loxodon Smiter would be good here as well.

but in modern you can be 2 for 1. If someone destroys your creature with an aura on it falls off. (i know with rancor it comes back to your hand but I would rather have might of alara or tribal flames.

Modern is way different and there is SO much destruction that it is sickening.

Rancor is naturally resistant to getting two-for-oned since it's efficient at just one mana and will always just buy back when the creature dies. I think it's actually a great card for zoo decks.

though goyf is good, he is just too slow for a zoo deck. i noticed you said you don't like rancor but it can put out a LOT more damage over time than a goyf can since he doen't work as well in an aggro strategy as in a midrange/control strategy. I would replace him with ape/lions or rancor.

If you think Goyf is to slow for a zoo deck then you must not know modern, goyf or zoo. All zoo decks NEED goyf cause he is more often then not a 4/5. which IDK what world a 4/5 is to slow for a second turn creature, how can you get any more aggro then that? Please explain?????

goyf all depends on what deck you are playing against and how your draws go. sure you could get the fetch t1 so he's a 1/2. if you don't draw any of the bolts and if your creatures don't get killed he's only a 1/2. sure he's good but i personally haven't seen him perform well in zoo through what i've seen. it's all up to you i'm just saying from what i've seen he isn't the best choice for an aggro playstyle

I'm not trying to be rude but I disagree. I understand what your saying. But the law of averages is on your side. Most of the time he will be a 3/4 3rd turn. You can ALWAYS count on your opponent doing something. you just can't promise what that is but EVERYTHING feeds the goyf.
