why bother splashing white if your not going to run path to exile, and WTH is obelisk of alara even doing in your collection let alone this deck.

dohohoho! good one! What do I need path for? Lightning Bolt kills most things, and Chandra/Ajani/Bit Blast/World Queller kill the others. Not every deck running white needs path. And Obelisk is awesome against other control decks. Fog especially. Lightning Bolt every turn without needing Valakut and five mountains? It's good.
And before anyone else says something about Path, I've tried from 2 to 4 in the sideboard before. It isn't necessary with all of the other removal I have (all of which do more than just remove creatures, not to mention, don't give my opponent a land).
