Whether its control, combo, tempo, midrange, not quite aggro... this deck can smoothly swap between strategies to suit whatever you play against. A printing of baleful strix in a modern/standard legal set would definitely bring this deck over the top. I am very proud of how it has performed thus far. The mana base is very tight. Do not change it. The Scourglass hasn't been tested, so it could be replaced by damnation, but I think the artifact synergy is cool.
one of the key interactions is with gifts ungiven on the end of your opponent's turn #4. You are allowed to search for any number of cards, between zero and four. So one option is unburial rites with elesh norn, grand cenobite. its pretty easy to see how you are going to try to win after playing that out.
