Squadron Hawk and Welkin Hawk is for always finding a Bird to equip with one of the swords. Also when a couple of Favorable Winds are on the battlefield they are also not bad.Kira is for protecting the birds. (plus side with Aether Vial -3 counters- you can put Kira in response to a removal spell and can use it as a counterspell)Field of souls is against the wrath of god effects. After wrath hits you still have something on the field and also if you have a couple of Favorable Winds, they are also too good to get ignored.Magus of the Moat can win you a few games since all we have flying creatures it doesnt effect us at all.
