Deck Description

As said on top. Though, I'm trying to make this standard. And I think it's sort of slow. But yeah... I'm going to try to see if I could work with it. Though, any feedback?

Deck discussion for In Progress Mono Blue Mill Deck

Great looking deck, I like how you are using the Grindclock by adding lots of counters on it, but your defense seems weak, I would maybe think about tossing in some Wall of Frost or Gargoyle Sentinel things that would hold up so you can run there deck down until they can't draw. Another thing is Elixir of Immortality, this card has ruined a lot of Mill decks (Even though this card is awesome) or even any of the Eldrazi legends. You could save your counter spells for these guys or you could even think about running black and tossing in some Memoricide or Leyline of the Void.

Mana leak, archive traps, jace (mind or beleren) and you need some sort of defense.... Wall of Frost or Guard Gomanzoa or something. Tides are about worthless b/c they cost too much. If you want to speed it up you're going to have to add in some Tome Scours and maybe hedron crabs with some fetch lands... deprives work well with that set up since you can return a land and drop it right back next turn.

if your milling you def. need 4x tome scours (20 cards for four mana) and i would also consider a Memory erosion (keeps your opponent from wanting to play spells)

other cards of interest could be mana leak (cheap counter) and memory sluice (16 cards for 4 mana)
