I feel like elixir of immortality could be replaced with something to help ramp your creatures, or serve a more useful purpose. Since your only win condition is based on playing Colosus of Akros, you could replace the elixir with something like ring of three wishes or Garruk, caller of beasts, or Jace, architect of thought, which all allow you to search for the Colossus. Nice deck though!

Elixir of Immortality is also in there to interact with Search the City. Plus it is cheap (mana and money wise). Jace would be a great fit though...
I see what you mean, but that's a lot of extra work just to gain 5 life (not even the goal of this deck)I know what you mean on cost though, I was just suggesting what would workAnd btw, ring of three wishes isn't incredibly expensive, and would serve the purpose
With the addition of Doorkeeper, the elixir also shuffles my graveyard into my library so I can mill myself to whittle down my deck...which would increase my odds of unexpected results into the Colossus. I'm also thinking of putting in Worldspine Wurms in so I have better odds of having an 'expected result'.
I used to have a defender deck to and i think these could go well in here, Guardian of the Ages, Wall of Frost and Guardians of Meletis. Also dont be afraid to splash other colours cause with Gatecreeper vine and Axebane you can summon pretty musch anything (use gatecreeper to get gates of any colours you need). For example Returned Phalanx and Ogre Jailbreaker can both attack and be part of your defence. A secondary mechanic could be mill with Doorkeeper if you willing to go down that path.But most importantly add Aqueous Form to give that lovely Colossus instant win-ness

I'm thinking of dropping Search the City. It isn't as useful without Misthollow Griffin. I am think of reworking this. Possibly dropping Search the City for Prophet of Kruphix. Thoughts?
I would think that is much more useful to you. It has a quicker pay back, rather than having to waot to draw and cast all 5 cards. You also basically get a turn on every players turn, so that's incredibly useful.
Also, I just figured out that Search the City won't trigger from Unexpected Results. (Cast and play are different). I could also shave a few lands.
