Deck Description

the idea is to stall and draw until you get 2 kedereckt leviathans, or one leviathan and a clone if that works by the rules, then until the your opponents deck runs out, keep continuously playing and bringing back your leviathans. the darksteels are in there so you can discard them on your discard phase to keep in your library so you still have one. if your are facing a deck that seems to be impervious to that tactic, put your entire sideaboard in to play the razer with the levaithan together, effectively leaving the entire field to your 2 creatures. it this works and is legal, then this has to be the most annoying thing in standard... if it works of course.

if there is anything you can think of to help me make this run smoother or actually work or something and be as annoying as i hope it can be, please leave suggestions. thanks for any help.

Deck discussion for never-ending annoyingness for standard. hope i can pull it off

I don't see why it wouldn't work, since the Leviathans return everything to your hand. When you played the second Leviathan, the first would just go back into your hand, letting you play it again... It would be total board control. Just gotta protect them from being removed ;). Maybe you can make it Esper and put in a tutor to help get your Leviathans? I'd also run other things besides Cancel or Hindering Light. I'm more in favor of Essence Scatter and Negate.

thanks for looking! : ) im also more of a negate/ scatter person but ive been screwed before with having the wrong type of counter in my hand and it got me worried. my original idea was to have the tutor, but that just caused more mana problems and its been playtesting fine without it. the big thing im worried about is burn decks. i made a similar version of this deck the yesterday running realm razer in conjunction with the leviathan for ultimate lockdown and i think that might work for faster decks. i think i will make a sideboard for specifically that.

All the cards I can think of recommending aren't standard... Lame.

Another option for the sideboard is Flashfreeze. That way you can do Essence Scatter / Negate / Flashfreeze for burn decks to slow them down as much as possible.

Yeah, I have a deck just like this, and path to exile will ruin you, believe me.
