Yeah, I got the idea a while back to put Glistening Oil and Melira together. I'm giving it some new attention and it should make for some fun games.
Phyrexian Hydra + Melira maybe?
Not a bad idea but I was saving the 5 slot for non-creature support
I ended up putting in Phyrexian Hydra and some Pod. Let me know what you think of the updates. I'm actually stumped on a final card slot. I'm not sure what to do with it...
I went with Revenge of the Hunted to push the lure style and to insta-kill with infect creatures.
I would move "Aerie Ouphes" and "Midnight banshee" to the sideboard. You can add 2 "Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon".I prefer "Phyrexian Crusader" than "Rendclaw Trow". Try to change "Kitchen Finks" by "Noxious Hatchling" and "Flesh-Eater Imp". They have a good combo with Melira.
I went with Rendclaw Trow because it works with Necroskitter and Melira, Those are the two major setup cards I have and Kitchen Finks are great for inf-life but I want to stick with a wither steal strat. I kept Flesh-Eater because you can Birthing Pod Rendclaw into the Imp and have an infinitely large infect creature. Aerie Ouphes has the same effect with Mikaes the Unhallowed and can sac itself to knock out all fliers since all my defense is on the ground.I did pull out Midnight Banshee in favor of Mikaes as a backup if Melira gets killed. Noxious Hatchling is a bit of a weak spot but I think it plays well with Black Sun Zeenith being able to remove counters and works well with Necroskitter and Melira.
