Because the aim of the deck is to let the people draw cards and megrim only deals damage if you discard.
You have "Draw and Discard" in the title...Tyranny and visions hurt you, where the others only hurt them.relying on a Obstinate Familiar to stop you from dying to drawing while your oppenents draw answer isn't the best idea...
What about Dark deal?
