Deck Description

So I'm loving Brimaz right now (as everyone else should) and now pulling one from my previous booster box, then that made me wonder a little: What if Brimaz had hexproof? If Brimaz had not only hexproof, but more support in terms of power and toughness, then he would practically destroy people.

How to Play

Get Brimaz out so you can give him more hexproof through Alpha's Authority (which I recommend the most because permanent hexproof) or Ranger's Guile and Simic Charm. You can also give him flying for some time through Ephara's Enlightenment so that he'll bypass huge ground creatures such as Polukranos.

Sideboard is really self-explanitory.

Deck discussion for So, If Brimaz had Hexproof....

I'd run 24 lands since your curve is so low.

Instead run 22 lands and add maybe 3 Fabled Hero, or mainboard the 3 Selesnya Charm's in sideboard.

I might take that into consideration, but I see more purpose into the sideboard since Selesnya Charms don't affect Stormbreath, the main death threat to everything I do.

It just seems like you run a little too much land for 1, 2, and 3 mana drop spells.

Plummet handily destroys Stormbreath Dragon if that's your main concern.

Jon480: Well I usually don't draw enough land for the first couple of turns, which can get really annoying.

Mozex: Not a bad sideboard card now that you mention Stormbreath with it.

In my opinion, I would replace the Call of the Conclave with Selesnya Charms. I would also replace the phalanx leader with hero of iroas and replace ephara's enlightenment with eidolon of countless battles. Ranger's Guile would make a better sideboard card over gainsay. And then you could mainboard a few turn one cards, maybe experiment one or elvish mystic? Just some thoughts.

Thank you, I'll take that into consideration.
