I would ditch the blue from this deck. You only have 4 cards that use blue. Go solid black. Black has better zombies.
I would take out 2 swamps & 2 Ghoulcaller's Chant and play 4 Dark Rituals.Other than tweeking your creatures its seems a solid deck.This is the zombie deck I run with. Take a look.http://www.mtgvault.com/ichulk21x/decks/mono-black-zombies/
12 forest is kind of low. Tried the sample hand and 2 out of 3 time you didn't have any lands to start with. Also since this isn't a standard and extended I would play Llanowar elves instead of arbor elf. Wild Growth could also help as well.I posted 2 elves deck you can take a look at.

Honor of the pure would help out. Giving you a +1 +1 to your white creature.
Corpse Harvester, Grave titan, call to the grave, and diabolic tutor, doom blade, everglades would help out. Sack the grave crawler to the corpse harvester so you can search for another zombie and a swamp. Then just pay the casting cost of the crawler to bring it back from the graveyard.
15 mana....kinda reminds me of the Revised days running 15 in a White Weenie deck...Sometimes it worked..and sometimes you got boned.

This is one of two elf decks I have. I'll try to do some of your suggestions. Just have to get certain cards.
