Deck Description

A deck I'm currently making for a friend. He's very into artifacts and wanted me to build him a better deck.

How to Play

This deck isn't really for you guys. It's more a reminder for me of what I need to get and put into the deck to make it work well, but I might as well show to you guys so that you can give me advice and suggestions on what I should throw in there.

Deck discussion for For Fletcher

Firstly; Nice deck.
Secondly; If the deck isn't for us you do know you can make it private, right? :)

I could make it private, but why would I pass up on free advice? I'm not a mtg master, so someone with more experience could always help me make this deck better.

Fair enough, it was really just because you wrote that it wasn't for us so I thought we shouldn't see it/comment on it. :)

Regarding the deck, I'd add phyrexian metamorph, it's a pretty stable artifact that can become anything in your deck, and every creature/artifact in your opponents deck. :) It would have loads of uses.

Honestly, I love Phyrexian Metamorph, but I have no idea what I should take out in order to sub him in for. Any ideas?

I'd sideboard the sphinx becuase it's situational when you're wanting to use it and I'd either remove the Vault Skirge or Razorfield Rhino, learning towards removing the Rhino. When you have a playset of Steel overseer, you won't need the Rhino really, especially when you can use the metamorph to copy the Darksteel Colossus and/or Etched Guardians. 3-4 ethced guardians boosted by overseers would be game against your opponent.

Ah. Alright. I've put in the Metamorphs. Thank you for the help. If you see anything else that could use any changes, don't hesitate to say so.

You could actually remove the sphinx for another Phyrexian Metamorph, but the optimal solution there would be to sideboard it incase you end up fighting a lifegain deck however if the deck isn't a lifegain deck you won't need to use the sphinx at all.

I see your point, and literally, the only reason I'm keeping it is because he loves it and demanded that I keep it in the deck. I think it'll work out with two metamorphs. Thank you for all the help!

Darksteel Juggernaut is good in any artifact deck, especially with the artifact lands and I would replace the darksteel colossus with blightsteel colossus
