one problem i see is a blue deck will run over it. i forget the name of the card but i used it on my brother once the combo went T2 psychic venom on one of his lands and then a card that for every artifact target player has he has to pay 2 or 3 mana every turn or sacrifice them. which i played on T3 and my brother immediately conceded the game.

Blue is always the bane of every deck. There's not really a way to stop it or to get around it in mono-red, but I believe I'll be able to out-ramp him, and hopefully kill them before they can cripple my boardstate too much.
