Budget Decks!I was looking through the entirety of Fallen Empires (don't ask why) when I stumbled upon this little beauty: Farrel's Mantle. That immediately got me thinking, "what creatures could make this work?" Soon I found the shadow fellows from Tempest and the rest was just a Gatherer's search away!
What really gets the deck going is the shadow guy + ordeal of heliod / Soltari Champion thing to get the clock fast enough. Holy Day, the removal package and Farrel's Mantle let you stall until you can alpha-strike for a win.
