It's pretty straight forward, maximize your devotion and damage output, kill the blockers you can't handle, swing for a ton, and overwhelm your opponent's defenses. Nykthos becomes worth it at 4 devotion.Also Martyr + Ascendant is a great combo, and nobody expects the mana tithe.
