Hi Inediblepeaches,Ahhh the dark side. Mono-black evil incarnate. While we both like black the big mistake you're making is not putting your minions to real work. You like Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat effects. You gain life and opponent loses life effects. The problem is you don't have a way to make your creatures die repeatedly come back into play. One way I handle that is use altars. 2 Gravecrawler and a Phyrexian Altar and you can make a gravecrawler repeatly come into play an arbitrarily large number of times. Thus supplying you with an arbitrarily large amount of life and your opponent's death. This also may be done with 2 Myr Retreivers and Ashnod's Altar with the advantage that Myr Retriever can bring back an altar if it is lost to the graveyard.
