Deck discussion for Hero in the Forest

I like it, But truthfully I don't think it needs the mana ramp. you have enough threats out there to keep the board occupied. I would take out all 4 of them. add 2 Hardened scales and 2 Abzan Falconeer. If you don't want to do that I would at least swap Out Hopeful Eidolon for Abzan Battle Priest. Yes it's more expensive than the casting cost, but it's the same price as the bestow cost and EVERY creature with a counter gets lifelink. Personally I don't like Centaur Battlemaster so if you get rid of the mana ramp I'd get rid of him. If you keep the mana ramp, Keep him. When I give advice I try not to take away too much for how people want to build their decks. And last but not least I'll never understand why people chose Phalanx Leader over Akroan Skyguard. It's the same CMC only it's has flying which is obviously the better choice. Plus it's not a double white which is always better in a two color deck.

Setessan Oathsworn would even be a better replacement for battlemaster

people chose phalan leader over akroan skyguard because phalanx gives everything on his feild a 1/1 counter where akroan only boost himself

Thank you for your suggestions HorizonBlue. Though I do like the ramp for battlemaster because I usually end up with ethereal and unflinching around the same time, and hitting for crazy amounts...I think you're completely right about the Setessan Oathsworn because it hits the field earlier, with plenty of low drops to target it, nice catch. I shouldn't really need the ramp since I'm switching out battlemaster, but for time being I think I'll swap the two mystics for hardened scales and keep falconer on the sideboard for now and see how it works. As far as battlepriest it's kinda tough cuz hero of iroas drops bestow cost of eidolon but battlepriest blankets so I'll test to see wat works better.

And yes nicholaskoppenol you took the words right out of my mouth lol especially if I'm going for falconer or/and battlepriest, phalax leader puts in some major work as soon as he's targeted.

Anywho I appreciate the suggestions they really do help and any more, positive or negative, are welcome and of course I'd be glad to return the favor.
