Because dredge refers to playing things from your graveyard. Or getting things into your graveyard to give you an advantage, not just the ability.

Well, if you play goblins you could always through in Day of Judgement's into the sideboard. They can be kinda late game but you never know when they help.
Melira's ability is creatures you control can't have -1/-1 counters placed on them. Problem solved.
This is actually a quite interesting take on the CawBlade deck, my only suggestion is that you still keep the hawks in. They are great shuffle cards, as well as cheap blockers when the times comes. Granted that puts me at a loss as to what to take out. But it's merely a suggestion, but I like what you've done with it. Might actually try this out and see how it plays!
What do you suggest I drop the Puresteel's for? I like them a lot, so I'm just wondering what you have in mind

see i would, but i can't get my hands on some ball lightning's. maybe i can get some. but i have easier acces to thornlings. so we'll see. maybe i can buy some or something haha. but thanks for the suggestion! Keep em coming!
what you should do, this is just all my opinion, is maybe switch the charms to sideboard and use hindering lights in your main, they're cheaper and you get to draw a card. this is all just opinion though, as i said.
you wont need 4 rafiq, if anything i'd say 2, easier to get ahold of just 2, and you wont dead draw him as much. i agree, keep the infiltrators. if you can, i'd say swap out the machetes for 2 behemoth sledges, a little more expensive to play and equip, but in my opinion well worth it. enlisted wurm is too expensive for this deck also, so if you can, swap it out for like 2 stoic angels, or even just some low drop exalteds like sigiled paladin, or even some knotvine paladins. i just kinda noticed this is an older post, so i have no idea if my advice will even help anymore, but i typed it all out so i'm posting it anyway haha
