It says search you library for a Mountain, Swamp, Plains or Island. The dual lands count as the lands that they represent, so Volcanic island counts as both as an Island and a Mountain.
I was under the impression that unless a card said - "land - mountain" or such, then cards like this wouldn't work.... I know some of the non-basic lands have - "land - mountain swamp" or such.... If I'm wrong on my rules, I apologize....

Just clued in... it just the older dual lands that apply... my bad... oh well... live and learn
