Deck Description

Slumbering Dragon...
Based on some dude's idea posted in the official MTG page and some of my own. There is not too much to explain about the main deck except you can also kill with a "ringed" birds of paradise. I do fear cheap removal such unsummon/vapor snag and their kind, but that's just blue. For that I added Ranger's Guile.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Deranged Outcast+Hunger of the Howlpack= 5 counters in turn 3
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chandra helps a little if you don't draw the dragon just copy a pump spell on a birds or something ringed and watch hilarity ensue. It also serves as a Bait for attackers because if you don't get rid of it in time... you perish.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sideboard is of course more technical:
Aggravate is by far one of my favorites forcing them to attack you.
Bower Passage is pretty cool when their flyers are bigger than 1/1 and you need to go through with no ring
Have fun :)

Deck discussion for Slumbering Menace

Nice deck. I like the addition of aggravate. Why reverberate instead of increasing vengeance? Check out these 2 slumbering dragon decks.

Well, they are a few card choices i've decided are better for the current metagame. You see Increasing Vengeance only lets you copy spells YOU control which actually isn't bad proven it has flashback, but the thing is, in a world full of huge X spells that make angels, deal damage and as a counter in maindeck to blue's counterspells,I decided Reverberate was a better inclusion.

If you're just using the Timberland guide for it's counter I'd suggest Bond Beetle instead since it's only a 1 drop.

Bond Beetle is a 1 drop, but Timberland Guide is a Human, therefore is a target for Deranged Outcast's ability: <1(g)>Sacrifice a human: put two +1/+1 counters on target creature.

Please check earlier comments for the reason I decided to include Reverberate instead of Increasing Vengeance.

I like how this deck really comes together with the humans that give +1/+1 counters and can later be sacked for more. Top down job man.
