what ratio would you suggest?
I would take out the sage owl and the skyfishers. Put in one two more ponders and one more cancel. Take out a mind control and the polymorph and put in two cheap creature removal spells (Crystallize?). Blue needs to be able to do something AND counterspell. Everything seems too expensive to make that happen. Don't think you need narrow escape. Maybe put in a wrath of god instead. word.
