Deck Description

This is basically a combo-based deck around invisible stalker and cipher. It also abuses the evolve mechanic with stolen identity. The end goal is to be able to bounce and recreate sylvan primordial to trigger evolve as well as get a ton of land and knock out a bunch of opponent lands. The problem is, it doesn't seem like this combo goes off as consistently as I want it to. It just seems slow... Should I add a master biomancer? would it even be worth it? Anything is appreciated!

How to Play

Early Game: Feign confidence and feign aggressiveness. This deck will never be able to stand strong early game, but make your opponent think you have the upper-hand. Start strong with the evolver's. Fathom Mage and Simic Manipulator are priorities. Don't be afraid to snag some creatures early with manipulator--you'll be able to take care of late game threats later.

Mid Game: We'll call mid game about 4-8 turns in. This is where you should be getting really close to being able to hardcast the primordial and identities. At this point you should have stalker on the field and hopefully some evolvers too. You can start thinking about playing the hydra, but only do so if you have a bioshift in your hand or death's presence on the field. Don't abuse cyclonic rift, but don't be afraid to use it if things get bad. It'll be more efficient to use later though when you have a massive mana supply.

Late Game: It's your cue to start being aggressive if one of 3 conditions are met.
1. You have stalker with a ton of counters or ciphers.
2. You have sylvan primordial on the field.
3. You have primordial hydra out with sapphire drake. (which is basically game.)

To be honest, I don't see it happening that this deck loses late game. If your combo's out, not even a day of judgement would kill it--you'd still have a huge mana advantage. Your opponent will find tricky ways to take out the stalker--make sure you keep an eye out. Just keep copying the primordial.

Deck discussion for Dimic... or is it Simir?

You need some more card draw and mana ramp to make the deck get the land destruction combo online quickly and consistently. You may also want to try Acidic Slime over the Primordial, as it is much easier to cast and has the same effect of land destruction without the land fetch for you.

That's definitely worth consideration. The only problems I see with that are that acidic slime doesn't have nearly as much hitting power. Copies every turn of the primordial change the game when you have 3 or 4 of them, not to mention evolving all my creatures. I have dawntreader elk in here for mana ramp and fathom mage for card draw--do you know any better cards? I had farseek and think twice originally, but think twice just wasn't worth the mana and farseek was slightly inefficient as it couldn't get me forests. Also dawntreader can evolve the manipulator. I've just had the most trouble finding WHICH card draw and mana grabbing to use, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
