Deck Description

This is an idea that I thought up that might be a really cool modern deck (now, obviously it needs a work before it'd be tournament competitive). It's got a lot of cool synergies that might just make it the ultimate non-con control deck.

The main synergy: Telepathy and Jace's Archivist. Telepathy is possibly the best underused card in control. Every decent players knows that the best way to beat a fully-stocked control hand is to bait them out and then play your value cards. Telepathy means you know exactly what's coming, exactly what's the bait and what to spend your mana on. It means that from turn 1, you get informed plays when they don't. That's awesome. It gets even more awesome when you add Jace's Archivist to the mix. The archivist used to be a card without much direction--might help you restock your hand if you're playing an aggro deck, but that's it. Now, it's got a lot more use. You can see their hand with telepathy and keep making them discard it until they have a crappy hand. This may not happen too frequently, but it's 1 mana a turn for instant speed. You can even do it after they draw a card if you want.

Secondary synergy: Jace's Archivist and Tamiyo's ultimate. When you discard the cards through jace's archivist, you get them all back. You basically give your opponent a crappy hand and double the size of yours. That is awesome. Reliquary Tower means that you hold onto it, to. Laboratory maniac is there to both make sure you don't kill yourself and give you an alt win-con.

Tertiary synergy (I like that word): Invisible Stalker and Bone-splitter. While they're worried about getting milled and discard with jace's archivist, invisible stalker comes in for the kill. Bonesplitter is a great equipment for the stalker, and starting on turn 3, if you draw both you can swing for 3 uncontested every turn and there's nothing they can do about it.

Fourth synergy: Jace's Archivist + Flashback. You can selectively choose to play only spells that don't have flashback and then discard the rest to give you card advantage. Think twice only costs one more and silent departure is probably a late game use anyway. Not to mention how great think twice is at end-step casting so you can leave counterspell mana open.

Well, here's my control deck. I hope you guys like it, and it could really use some help too!
