Deck Description

This is a home-brew version of the jeskai tempo deck that did very well at the first SCG standard open. I will try to make this my standard deck of the season if I can because I believe that it will do very well the the meta at my local shop. planning to fill out the mantis riders and another sarkhan with spicing up the sideboard as I trade for the cards.

any suggestions are welcome,
thanks.

How to Play

The idea of this deck is to accelerate yourself while slowing down your opponent. This deck is also very adaptable and good at taking on many roles, from aggro to control.

Deck discussion for Jeskai Deck Wins

I dig the decklist and I run a similar build, although I'm confused as to why you're using Evolving Wilds. You could get the same effect by cutting them and changing the manabase around to add in a few more basics and fetches. Other than that it looks pretty solid.

the evolving wilds I find useful because I don't currently have the fetches and I would like to be able to mantis rider on turn 4 as much as possible. I haven't actually gotten a chance to play with this yet, so I might change it around.

I think Nyx-Fleece Ram or Wall of Essence may be more helpful then Seeker of the way. Also harder for your opponents to get rid of.

I would agree with you if this was a truly control deck, but the idea is that this deck can take the role of control, midrange, or aggro, depending on the matchup.

That being said I believe that they are a great idea in the sideboard, and might switch some stuff out soon.

Thanks!
