I don't think that lightening bolt is very effective in EDH, particularly when you are running the ultimate pinger in Niv-MIzzet. Some suggestions: 1) add more card draw because Niv & psychosis crawler + draw = damage (rhystic study rocks in multiplayer EDH, Mind Unbound is solid, and Minds Eye Diamond should be in every EDH deck; and 2) consider getting a Basilisk Collar because once equipped, Niv becomes a sniper rifle. He can kill a creature per card draw, so a +X draw effect makes him into a machine gun (I once killed 6 Frost Titans and a Hellkite w/ a 7 draw braingeyser).

I would consider replacing lightning bolt with Archmage Ascension because it + Beacon of Tomorrows = Infinite Turns
Nice deck. My only suggestion would be to add some more card advantage. Rhystic study is a good option.
