Deck Description

Just made for fun
Slightly challenging for people who hate zombie based decks.

How to Play

Main strategy in this deck is getting out Death Baron first along with Xenograft to make all of my creatures zombies and give them deathtouch. Second step really is to play rooftop storm to help cast zombie cards from my hand to the field for free, then they will also be given the added ability deathtouch, next is wall of bone to give all zombies and skeletons an extra +1/+1 counter, basically a fun deck to play along with its own strategic plan to overrun and take out the opponents creatures while being able to bring them back with lim-dul the necromancer and also boost them to help take out the opponent.

Death Baron gives all zombies and skeletons +1/+1 and deathtouch
And Xenograft allows me to add zombie in addition to the original creature types of all of my creatures
The zombies in my hand I can summon with rooftop storm for free

Good deck idea, but your missing some kind of wrath effect... Seeing as your most likely not playing anything to the board until turn five... and you don't have anything super interattive until turn three, seeing as your going to be wanting to save scatter to counter finishers i.e. hellrider/stormbreath/thunderbreak /siege rhino.

You really don't need the charm in this deck, so I would replace it with agony warp, it can blank damage from a later drop creature and kill an early drop creature.

Now wrath of god type effects are rare in black making the good ones hard to come by... your best options here are Drown in sorrow

OR as your going to be relying on litches tomb to keep you alive not your life total, toxic deluge. This one is a bit pricy though, so id reccmoned trading for this, and keeping it to a two of.

So for two of either of those cards I would move the amulet to the sideboard, moving it back in if your opponent is playing a more control style deck.

Now I understand that limb dhal is really easily abuseable with lich's tomb once you get him out, Its going to be hard to get to that point. So having 4 reassembling skeleton or 4 grave crawler in there would be rather disgustingly good, and give you some more flexibility in the early game. To make room I would get rid of the minotaur abomination as he is doing the same thing as terrus worm but he has less value when he dies. I would also go down to two tombshell (RIP durdle turtle, never forget T^T) as though he combos well he is a bit too mana heavy for your deck to handle before you get the rooftop storm out.

Seeing as you have nothing taking advantage of the gate type land in your deck I would recommend you put in dismal backwater instead. It does exactly the same thing as the gate but it gains you life as well.

And finally I would reccomnd that you go down to 2 xenograft and get rid of strings, to add in 3 night's whisper. You need the card draw and those two are by far your weakest spells in the deck. They are cute but they just don't do enough and will only really work when you are already winning.

good luck and good hunting good sir! :3

p.s.
seriously though look up Towershell, that guy was so cute. Then he died T^T

I will definitely check into those cards! I only had so much to work with on this but it was a killer idea that I knew wasn't exactly what I knew it could be with what all I had.

No! We all start somewhere with the cards we own. The best part of deckbuilding is honing a deck till its the best you can make it. often I find the process of this far more exiting than the result!

It is when you have the money that's for sure, I have a nice collection of cards from all over the world! Just not everything I need to hone such power that I am now looking for in a Dragon Based deck.

Well I mean I have a modern deck that I have been working on for about three years, only recently did I get the last few parts. I agree with you that money is an issue but if you keep connected with your local players and draft about once a month you will eventually get the cards you need. All I can say is, trade aggressively. People will beg and plead with you if you have a good card but you have to hold out for what you want.

I agree to it's costly. i am constantly revamp deck's and its a world of fun. i Will almost always get rid of stuff high dollar to get what is needed. and FNM and drafts are a very good way to get cards. And good friends if you find the right group. Good Deck to i love Zombies lol. +1
