Deck Description

Made this deck for zinkk to complete challenge: Artifact Infect Deck. Cast creatures for cheep with Heartless Summoning. Pump them with Tempered Steel and Hand of the Praetors. Cast Necropede for free to set off Hand of the Praetors, use Throne of Geth to sac Necropede and proliferate. Or sac Core Prowler to proliferate twice. Corpse Cur to reanimate Necropede and cast for free again. Skithiryx for mid/late game win. All suggestions welcome =)

Deck discussion for Artifact Infect deck

I like it, but feel even though you have the Heartless Sumoning you're still a bit heavy on the mana curve. Personally, i would want a smaller creature to bring out. Plague Stinger is good evasive, small, and still has infect so you can bring it back with the cur. I would trade the metamorph for it.


Also, ever think about Momentary Blink? I think it'd be fun with the Cur to bring in multiples of lost creatures by blinking a few times.

Even if not, I would run 1 Island and 4-5 Fetch lands too.

U do realize Plague Stinger would die with Heartless Summoning unless I have Hand of the Praetors out. And also Momentary Blink is not in standard.

na he doesnt need any fetch lands or islands... they are a waste of space if he is doing a black white deck build for artifact. plus the game shouldn't go no more than 5 or 6 turns with infect. its either infect kills you quick or you kill infect.......

why the throne? you stated above that you have it to sac necropede...well heartless summoning already does that job pretty well.... unless you think someone will have naturalize...or revoke existance *i believe*...

take one summoning out... put 2 more lands i tried play testing and i keep comming mana short
and find a way to keep it 60

The throne is 'cause necropede doesn't die if I have Heartless Summoning and Hand of the Praetors out as Hand of the Praetors negates the -1-1s with his +1+1 ability. Also it adds more poison power. As for what u said about taking out Heartless Summoning and adding in more lands, the reason u keep coming mana short is 'cause the draw sample hand on mtgvault is innacurate, if u actually work out the maths the chances are around 80% of drawing Heartless Summoning after 1 mulligan by turn 3 and by then chances are I have already 2 land which is all the land I need.
