I have a friend who bought himself a Simic deck. It had Vorel of the Hull Clade in it. I played against that deck, but for a fun twist decided we could take another card we own from outside the game and add it to our decks. He chose Lorescale Coatl and pounded me to a crunch. Earlier I had seen a friend with an Ajani's Pridemate, coincidentally fighting a Lorescale Coatl. (Sadly, no Vorel of the Hull Clades.) I had thought they were insane. Serene Steward and Heroes' Bane only make it better, with added touches like Sungrace Pegasus and Awaken the Bear.
