Deck Description

Here's a deck idea I've been toying with. Basically, you gain a lot of life while putting a bunch of Golem tokens in to play via Soul's Attendant and Suture Priest. Felidar Sovereign is in there as a potential win condition and Moltensteel Dragon could also be a potential win condition if you have enough extra life to pump into him. You could also use Emerge Unscathed with Precursor Golem to make your Golems unblockable by certain colors to swing for pretty big damage. Also, Ajani's Pridemate can get huge fast with this deck. The Phyrexian Core is there to circumvent Precursor Golem's second ability if a Golem was getting hit by a destroy spell.

I realize there is an infinite life combo that I'm missing here, but it wouldn't fly in my casual play group.

Edit: Replaced Glimmerpoint Stags with Mighty Leaps. The leaps are useful because I can sneak the Pridemates or Golem Swarms across enemy lines.

Could I work Dread Statuary in here somehow? Possibly replace the precursors with Masters and add the Statuaries in instead of the Phyrexia's Cores?

Could I lose two master splicers and add in Leonin Relic-Warders?

Deck discussion for Golem Sisters

I've actually been working on a deck like this for awhile now, but never thought of using the splicers!
I've been looking for a replacement for Squadron Hawk and I think because of this I might just throw her in!

The infinite life combo is a nice addition, throw it in for tournaments? Also using Kabira Crossroads in your land is a nice little 2 life drop I like to play, along side Rest for the Weary, 10 life in a turn for 2 cost is always a morale boost. :P

I'm surprised that you don't use Serra Ascendant?

Thanks for the input! I hadn't considered Kabira Crossroads, but it looks like it's pretty cheap and would be a good addition.

I love Serra Ascendant, such a cool card and good for these types of decks... I just didn't know where she fit into this deck! She'd probably be best used replacing the Moltensteel dragons, but I really wanted them in there. I'll have to see how it plays and see what works and what doesn't and go from there.

Divinty of pride is a cool card to put in decks like this. An 8/8 flying liflink is pretty scary.

Good call. If I wasn't trying to keep this deck Standard it would definitely be going in!
