Just a note, I think that momentary blink would be illegal in a commander game, as its color identity is also blue because of the flashback cost.
Did you consider Rancor or did it seem too straightforward? It has the potential to draw quite some cards with your commander or it forces your opponent to wait with a removal in hand.
I will. We play regularly on tuesdays, but it might be a bit weaker with Christmas coming around. I usualy stick with a deck for several months, trying to tune it, until I get bored of it and play something else. So far, I decided to ditch the token theme a bit and go heavy on the ETB triggers and direct damage. I will post some more updates to it after Christmass.
The most problematic question with all the EDH decks. What to cut? :DI do own both Reveillark and Karmic guide, but I didn't want to overcrowd the deck with reanimation spells. The informer looks like it could replace world shaper. With 4 mana, he is able to mill instantly, doesn't need to wait a turn to attack.
I would suggest Master of cruelties, but that combo is just too unfair to be played.
Would maybe Parallax tide (or other Parallax cards) be any good. With tide alone you could swipe 3 lands and then cast Atraxa to keep it alive.
Ah, you caught it before I made the last few changes. Powder Keg was prefered in this case because it hits manlands which was my main bane of existence. With Fatal Push now, it won't be that much of a concern so I will probably remove it altogether. I just have to get a few more copies and switch them for Innocent bloods.As for the Wastelands. I did think about them, but it always seemed a bit counterproductive to me. For this version of the deck atleast. If you destroy all of your opponents mana, he can't play spells which means he will have a full grip - The Rack does nothing. If you take out a few lands here and there with Smallpox and kill all his threats, it opens up the game for a damage race.

No they don't. If I get it right, Mogis checks for a player to have 7 symbols of either Black or Red, which means he comes into play as a creature with haste from the Hammah. (1 Cackler + 2 Jester + 2 Hammah + 2 God him self)1st turn Cackler unleashed 2/22nd turn Jester 3/1 + haste, swing for 53rd turn Hammah, swing for 5, 10 total4th turn God, swing for 12, 22 total + 2 from the God at opponent's upkeep
Force of will is played as an Oh Crap! card. You use it to counter things that can be deadly to you, should they hit the field. If it's not dangerous enough to justify losing a card, they you don't counter it.
Or it can give you a second blue mana source should you need it for whatever reason.

True. Making a toolbox of enchantments (you could also include 1 or 2 that are out of your colours / mana level) would make your deck resiliant to variety of strategies. Keeping your major enchantments as 2-of would let your recast in case your creature was destroyed.Or if you want to center more around Zur, you could include some totem armor enchantments to make him moroe resiliant, and a Vedalken Æthermage so that you can find Zur much more reliably.
I am really thinking about trying it out as well.Even though it may not seem like much on the paper, it is very universal and I haven't seen a bad word against it. Tombstalker on the other hand, looks like a bomb on paper, but real play is not that good.
Hi. I just wanted to ask about your experience with Tombstalkers. I am curently testing them in my Pox list and so far wasn't really succesful with it. Often they get stuck in my hand with no mana / graveyard to play it or they get in the way when I need to smallpox / innocent blood the field. It was brutal as a win-more card though. Drawing it after taking control of the field, he was a great finisher, but it happens rarely for me. Maybe I just went overboard with the ammount of finishers in my deck though.
Actualy, you can't respond to goblin grenade by removing the creature. Sacrificing is part of the cost so the spell goes on the stack after the goblin is sacrificed.
Very interesting list.Seeing that you run 3 Tombstalkers, what experience do you have with them? Do you end up killing them often with your own sacrifice effects, or do you end up with them stuck in your hand and no mana / too important cards in graveyard to remove them? I recently added him instead of Netherspirit (felt kinda slow with too little body) and so far he never pulled out much for me. He only acted as a win-more card. Recently I thought about trying out Nyxathids instead due lower casting cost and possibly bigger body. He is still susceptible to Innocent blood and Smallpox, but atleast he isn't harmed by graveyard hate which is sideboarded often against me.
I find galvanic blast and other sacrifice effects very handy. Opponent is almost always going to try and kill your creatures, there are times when you simply rush the opponent's defenses to squeeze some damage through by sheer numbers. Sacrifice effects give you a chance to make use of the creature that would die anyway and 5 damage is not something to laugh at against an agro deck. Or it can always be used as a finished (you don't need your artifact after you have won). I have had very possitive experience with Galvanic blast in particular.
