does it really have to be 5 colors? Im sure you can take green out, get a little more speed to the deck.

You make a good point Aiel. though Green has good synergy with black, red, blue, and white, but i may take out some of the forest to allow the deck to breath a little. You have convinced me.

0

It simple to shuffle. Simply take the deck, throw it on the ground, then reconstruct the deck as fast as possible. 3 out of 10 people can reconstruct half the deck in the amount of time you receive to shuffle.

This deck has a solid, very precise strategy. To be honest, i feel like this is one of the quickest guaranteed reusable source of mana synergy I've ever seen on the vault, or ever playing, so props for that ^_^

However, I do think this deck could use....a more aggressive approach? I mean, most games your opponent will just shit himself or scream in agony and confusion at what he's doing with his life playing against your deck, but there is going to be the rare strong willed opponent who will figure out the cunning behind your schemes and become the champion of this monster deck. I suggest manabond/treasure hunt to put more lands out and increase the chances of the other player to have a stroke and die at the table :D

Cant wait to see the progress of this deck <3 (:

3
Posted 16 January 2014 at 06:05

To be more agressive I suggest Goblin Charbelcher. Adding it, however, might ruin your perfect mana curve, so it is possibly not worth it.

Also, don't underestimate the speed of this deck ... if the opponent just refuses to concede you could always play one of your lands face down and claim it is a morph creature :)

For anyone that's like me, and actually considered building this deck; remember to bring a ladder to your FNM this deck will be approximately 49 feet tall.. and that's without sleeves.. also at the beginning of each match don't forget to ask your opponent: "Do you want to cut?"

Wizards is on to you! They know this deck is too strong and have taken steps to make sure it can never show up at a tournament: "Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it can contain up to fifteen cards."

Also for the people who dont understand this deck, land decks are just good decks. if you realy want a deck that is better.... there is none unless you double the number of lands. (and friends for shuffeling your deck.)

I laugh a lot while playing with my group actually, but that's because our games make sense.

If your friend pulled out a deck that is nothing but hundreds of lands (realistically speaking here, because have 49,999 cards is not possible) then where is this fun that you speak of in them playing land, land, land, land, land, land, etc, etc.... While you play spells & creatures and win right away.

Essentially, there is no point in playing and you might as well be playing against the wall in front you.

mcjordalini you are simply missing the humor. this is a community website for people to share ideas that they feel like sharing. people on here could just as easily spam us with decks that contain nothing but power 9 and are absurd. and considering that someone actually went to a tournament with a deck of just basic land shows that you dont appreciate this deck for what it is. who knows! this deck design may one day change the very nature of the game itself!

-1
Posted 16 January 2014 at 22:40

yeah, but at least they could see a deck that is only a dream, on paper. nothing wrong with that, but the land thing is a bit excessive, how do you prevent damage?

-1
Posted 16 January 2014 at 22:57

I must admit, as someone trying to do well at PTQs I think this sort of thing is a bit silly. It just spams up the hot page and takes away people's time when they could be making really good decks instead of this rubbish. You won't get to such a late game to mill them out because even if it's a deck like U/W which is super slow, Aetherling would eat it for breakfast. Especially at such a key deck building time this isn't what should be on the hot page.

1

i read what you typed, but i couldn't retain a word of it.

0

OK, I will simplify it. This deck is spam. It doesn't help the site's credibility. It isn't funny. It is a key standard time because born of the gods is coming out. If anyone wants to improve to a semi pro standard this type of thing is stupid.

0
Posted 19 January 2014 at 08:58

I see what your saying, and you make good points . . . but your wrong. There is never a "key standard time" because there is always a new set coming out, it happens every 3 months like clockwork. If anything the key time for standard is when the old block is about to rotate out. That's when the radical changes happen. Second this deck is hilarious and powerfully witty, and if you can't appreciate it well all I can say is you need to have more fun on the internet

0
Posted 19 January 2014 at 10:23

Oh I mean key standard times because of Pro Tour, my friend is going so I'm deck testing with him because I spotted mono blue devotion before it was big (Just a crap version!) And I have more fun on other websites, particular favourite is Vanoss Gaming on youtube, if you like GTA or CoD give it a watch you will literally crap yourself laughing!

yes, I can understand the irritation of working on a deck for a while, tweaking it until you think you have something cool, and then getting no attention for it. "decks" like this one get attention because they are obviously not meant to be taken seriously.

People here seem to either a) hate on newbie decks because they aren't really powerful, or b) not take the game serious enough to accept advice from more experienced players. Both f which ends up making people not want to look for "real" decks to comment on, and yet still expect others to view their own handiwork. personally I find that having a deck like this just to joke around with makes it easier for people to find new decks to look at because there ARE lots of different people commenting, and therefore more decks to look at that perhaps you didn't know existed. :)

Jessie is right, you want comedy go on a comedy site. The MTGVault team are a solid team, I should know, I've played them! Someone could have put the mono blue devotion deck on here before it became good and it wouldnt make the hot page because of this! This would be funny on the new deck page, but on the hot page with the powerful decks? It makes Vault less reputable than places like tapped out, which really sucks because the team for the site are really good and really nice without being stupid.

Maybe an Evolving wilds in the sideboard in case you findt yourself stuck on too many of the same type land on the first game.
In with Evolving wilds and your chances of getting the right type land is secured.

Considered a single Basic Snow Mountain? I bet your opponent wouldn't expect that.

So simple, yet, so effective. I would sideboard at least one eldrazi titan just in case you do end up facing a very good mill deck. Or, at the very least, a sundial of the infinite. I run a deck similar to this, and Curse of the Pierced Heart is pretty much the only weakness.

You how to play discription is not correct. you cant play a land on turn 50000 cuz there are only 49999 cards in the deck. Report! you cheater not drawing a card for one turn. also you start with 7 (or a little less if you took a new hand because you where nama screwed.) cards in hand.

Raise your hand if like me you drew a sample hand and then clicked "draw again" until you got all 5 colors in your starting hand. 78th time's the charm. B-)

Considering the speed of the current meta in all formats, not sure you'd draw it out, would screw their sideboarding though
