because i kill their last creature, now i have to put a counter on one of my creatures, then kill it on my turn. it is a bad combo that can hurt me just as much as my opponent. they dont belong in a wither deck. now that you have that stupid combo in your deck i have 8 more creatures at least then you to beat your face in with. i win.
as soon as you get a creature, i use blowfly to put a counter on it, it dies, I win
If you are against a black deck all of your opponents creatures now have wither and the damage they do remains on your creatures, so Corrosive mentor can hurt you
ok look i can tell your 10 or you dont play that much. first of all it says creatures i control not all black creatures, learn to read. second of all when i have any +1/+1 on a creature, which by the way i can get from fists of the demigod and ashenmoor liege it cancels out your little -1/-1 counter so no you cant kill my creatures, no you dont win. i do. have a good day and goodnight.
wow, you really dont know how counters work. If a creature has a -1/-1 counter and a +1/+1 counter they dont remove the each other from the creature. That creature still has a -1/-1 counter and can be destroyed using crumbling ashes, and giving a creature +1/+1 by using demigod doesnt remove the -1/-1 counter either just the effect of the counter. Therefore, all of your creatures still have counters and die by crumbling ashes and you LOSE. You are correct about mentor, i read the card wrong.
120.2 - If a permanent has both a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter on it, N +1/+1 and N -1/-1 counters are removed from it as a state-based action, where N is the smaller of the number of +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on it. See Rule 704. [CompRules 2009/07/08] from the orical txt, yes they cancel, i know what im talking about.
But you fists do not give ur creatures counters, they give them +1+1 or +2+2. They are not +1+1 COUNTERS! So with that combo u would die. Sorry. Now, a card like Fate transfer could get rid of this for you. And unleas im very much mistaken, blowfly only adds 1 -1-1 counter on a creature. Most decks i know of (- goblins ok) have creatures that are bigger then 1/1. So the blowfly would not kill them meaning it would not kill the next 2 creatures the opponent has wich would mean your creatures dont get it on them! Then use the Crumbling ashes to slowly bring your opponents to there knees! Muhahahahahaha xD... Btw thanks for the Crumbling ashes tip.. adding that to my wither deck :)
