Deck discussion for Hot Knights!

why don't you add Hero of Bladehold. I think it's perfect for this deck, you'll use the indestructible Knights to attack and soldiers to defend

That's a good tip. I could def. put those in sideboard and switch out things. Thanks.

There are a lot of somewhat useless cards in here. Elixir of Immortality really doesn't do anything for you. You have no way to draw, and with Emeria, you could shoot yourself in the foot in a long game by taking away your ability to bring back cards.

Brave the Elements would, 99% of the time, be far better than Safe Passage - it would protect you from Day of Judgement, and offer all of the other protections for your creatures that Safe Passage does (except against colorless) - and it only costs 1 mana instead of 3 - a far better card for your deck, imo. It would also be a much better finisher as you could use it to prevent your opponent from blocking too.

Emerge Unscathed would also be better than Soul Parry - costs 1 less mana, has rebound... The only situation that would be better is, again, against artifacts, unless your opponent is out-creaturing you (but you're already in deep trouble if that happens anyways).

I'd also side Leyline of Sanctity - most decks aren't going to directly target you with anything, as well as True Conviction - 6 mana is too expensive for a deck that is really an aggro deck.

I'd suggest sticking in Accorder Paladin and Hero of Bladehold and taking out White Knight, Elixir of Immortality, Leyline of Sanctity and True Conviction - and with the last 4 maybe throw in Kemba's Skyguard for a little healing + flying, or Student of Warfare so you can dump some mana if you get flooded.

Thanks for the suggestions. You kinda murdered the deck, but hey it was for the better. I did make a few changes. Comment if you wanna.

"Brave the Elements would, 99% of the time, be far better than Safe Passage - it would protect you from Day of Judgement,"

Protection from white does NOT protect from global abilities such as Day of Judgment.

To remember what Protection does, think of the word "DEBT".
A creature with pro-white cannot be damaged, enchanted, blocked, or targeted by anything that's white. Day of Judgment does none of these so it will still clear your side of the field.

True conviction if for late game. I don't expect to play it much, but as insurance it's there. All the knights are cheap so It can't hurt to have some power. Also the side board is there so you can always switch things in or out.

I agree with the poster above. If you can get the cards, i suggest look at this decklist of mine. Let me know what you think.

Good addition of Brave the Elements, one of the best cards in this deck IMHO. The Arid mesa's are currently useless without any red to splash for. I take that back, if your addition is to thin out your lands after you get the first 3 or 4. If that is the case, wouldnt hurt to put un marsh flats as well.

if you are running into a lot of aggro decks, you could put in the Leonin skyguards instead of paladins, i just favor paladins more. Other than that it is looking better.

Other options to consider, other than my WR list. You can try WB. With 4 Marsh Flats, splashing for x4 go for the throat and x2 memoricide (with 2 more in SB for jace/primeval titan decks) :) gl
