UPDATE: 6/30/2012, thanks for putting me on the top decks list everybody, please do not hesitate to give me suggestions to make my deck better.

joey

hey guys, this is a lifegain deck, also has some creatures that force your opponent to deal with while you try to gain life, also got a couple of decent ways to protect your creatures. please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.

Hmm..with such a low mana curve I think 20 lands would be good. Joey with a y? How else would u spell joey lol. Geez rocket scientist. Anywhoo cool deck joei. U should look at 521909 decks-they r ....

I agree with Sponge, how else would you spell Joey. Ehh mediocre deck, to be honest a lame way to win. The game really should show one's ability to be strategic and creative however, this just shows lack of craftsmanship, lazy and boring. Find another way dude, there should be a dislike button.

lol, sounds like hate. at least the deck gives the opponent a chance to play the game, unlike some control decks that basically immobilize their opponent to the point where you might as well play by yourself. however, i do enjoy the fact that my deck was important enough for you to create a new account just to post this on comment.

I seem to be suggesting this a lot recently with all this life gain....

But, if legality and category doesnt matter, consider Test of Endurance for an instant alternate win condition.

If you get a chance, i welcome any feedback you can offer to my B/W land destruction deck ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=177406 ). However, if that deck doesn't suit your tastes, feel free to click on my name to see my complete deck list. Thanks!

hmm pretty different build here. personaly i think a way to keep ur lower life linking creatures swinging would be a great bonus. either make them unblockable or give them a constant pro creature would be devastating in this deck. i like the over all concept of the deck though. would get really annoying to go against a deck that just keeps gaining life. only thing worse would be the elixer of immortality in here. lol.

I made a lifegain deck like this a while back, check it out if you need ideas. I really like Martyr of Sands in here BTW.

Add them to the sideboard for now play test them.

i agree in the sb really. the elixer would be ur option against those mill decks ur bound to fight eventually. soul warden and soul's attendant would be fun maybe in the sb against token decks. they could be in the main but im not sure u drop enough creatures. purity could be a really good big creature also. his effect is just an f u to ur opp.

Nice. I would take out the restless apparitions and put in two Evershrikes. Goes well with your Edge of Divinity auras.0

And add in/sideboard the Lifelink auras

i agree with taking out restless apparitions, but i think i wanna replace them with voracious hatchling. and i think im gonna add lifelink auar because it would work great with mourning thrull and also make my nightsky give me life as well. very nice suggestions.

what about unmake guys? i think i need a little creature control and that would help pump up my voracious hatchling and my nightsky mimic

0

unmake would be a great card. its simple to get especially since most other players dont use them.

Looks cool. especially like the way you took a lot of black/white spells and sticked with the white mana base. Very similar to my deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=142585 which uses black aswell. would use some unmake though, very powerful spell. If not in the deck then at least in sb.

Nice deck, lot of good lifegain there, though I think a little more death in the deck can be good. Take a look at mine, similar kinda life/death black/white deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=327006 though now you have me thinking I should have serra ascendant in my deck, also now considering ajani's pridemate...

serras awesome, and hated during 2 headed giant... i tried ajani in this deck, didnt work out for my set up

i replaced 2 Plains for 2 Emeria, the Sky Ruin, seem like its a good late game land

may i suggest souls of the fautless. excellent defense and fits in with the life gain

0

Interesting, but i'd up the land count its a little low and i'm not really seeing a whole lot of wining the game capability, yes you gain life but no you'll never inflict any damage. Add in stuff like Ajani's pridemate, chalice of life, or Felidar Sovereign. Also being a black white life gain deck I highly recommend actually adding black land and a Sanguine Bond or two along with exquisite blood. when used together 1 damage or 1 life gain will result in infinite life and damage
