Deck Description

Beastly beatdowns!

How to Play

Not much to it: play Beast, smash face, rinse and repeat.

Well, okay, there's a LITTLE more to it than that. Play little guys like Garruk's Companion, Kalonian Tusker, and Leatherback Baloth (not so little after all!) while you ramp up with Overgrown Battlement and Sylvan Caryatid. Then bring out the big guns!

All the while, you can draw cards (Wirewood Savage, Garruk's Packleader, and even Garruk, Primal Hunter), gain life (Obstinate Baloth, Thragtusk), pick apart troublesome permanents on your opponent's side (Mold Shambler), swarm out with Beast tokens (Garruk, Rampaging Baloths, Beast Attack), and of course, beatdown (Nylea's mass trample is a good way to do it). You even have a way to bounce a little with Stampeding Wildebeests, which works well with Obstinate Baloth/Thrag or as a way to reset Blastoderm.

Your sideboard offers ways to combat flying, board wipes, troublesome artifacts/enchantments, and Feral Throwback to basically pick fights with creatures you need wiped out.

Yeah, thought about that and Primeval Bounty, but they didn't make the final cut. I've still got Advocate in mind, though.
