Unsurprisingly, the key cards are the creatures with inspired abilities: Pheres-Band Tromper and Pheres-Band Raiders. They're both pretty good on their own, but fantastic if you have ways to tap (and untap) them outside of combat. This deck has several:Springleaf Drum - A nice, cheap way to tap creatures...and still get the benefit of additional mana for it. A great way to tap one of the Pheres-Banders the same turn they hit the field, when they're otherwise just sitting there taking up space.Glare of Subdual - Tap to neutralize threats. Again, can be done the same turn they enter play, which is nice.Giantbaiting - Tap to put multiple 4/4 beaters into play. Not too shabby.Jaddi Lifestrider - Tap for life. Simple, but very effective.Ready, Wrap in Vigor - One untaps, the other taps. What's not to love?Bramblesnap - There's a reason his card is the deck's feature image. He's fantastic with the inspired guys.There's another creature that's really good when you tap it: Gilder Bairn. He has the ability to add more +1/+1 counters to Pheres-Band Tromper or any Warrior that enters play with Bramblewood Paragon around, but the best part is that Bairn does that by untapping itself! So tap him with the numerous methods above, then untap him to reap MORE benefits!
