Deck Description

Ramp using undying creatures as protection. When you do a board wipe they will return, then use Black Sun's Zenith to remove their +1/+1 counters. They will now be able to die all over again.

Deck discussion for Black Sun's Undying

Have you tested this yet? Just curious if it runs how you would like. Looks like a pretty good idea.

I'm going to try it out tomorrow and will post the results. I'm really interested too, as it's taking advantage of the -1/-1 counter mechanic, with one cancelling out the other.

Only problem is that hellrider doesnt have undying... Otherwise, if you test it and it works, i may have to build a legacy version of this, just because i think it would work well with maelstrom and whatnot.

This deck was slow to get going, and although the plan did work - and the creatures got a new life - they were just crushed again next turn.

The kill all removal was not reliable enough.

My main observation is that you should use proliferate to increase the strength of the undying creatures, not try and suppress them.
