Deck discussion for Gestated Rabidity - Modern G/B Infect

I tell you what. The best thing you could do in the entire world for this deck is say goodbye to the swarmlords and skithy for glistener elves and phyrexian crusaders. That will boost your speed, and make this deck supremely painful. I would also recommend mutagenic growth. heck, you can just pay 2 life!!! how can you complain to that?

You should use Invigorate. The opponent gains life, but that doesn't matter in Infect!

Mutagenic's are essentially a 0 cost buff. With Livewire's and Wild Defiance it's extremely useful to have them for 0 cost. Probes are there so I can see my opponents hand and decide if I should blow my buffing cards (because of counters, combat damage prevention). Also I have the chance of drawing a Mutagenic or another buff to possibly kill them. As far as Overrun goes, it's too high cost. I use multiple flyers, wait for them to leave one open, and buff the shit out of that creature that gets through.

You might want to check out Might of Old Krosa.... it's a more consistent version to groundswell.. Also I'm always fond of the card canopy cover, give your infect guys hexproof and make them harder to block, only by creatures with flying and reach =p
