Deck Description

This is a multiplayer, mono-red (obviously) dragons deck.

It is not expensive to make.

It is also absurdly fun to play, but can get you kicked in the shins (particularly if you play a Balefire Dragon on turn two).

With two mana and appropriate ramp, you can play just about anything in short order. Dragonspeaker Shaman will lower the cost of your dragons, putting them in range of a Seething Song or - if you see more than one - one of your smaller ramps.

Three mana on the field (or in hand through ramp) is optimum and lets you play the majority of your support. Mudslide will practically stop any creature deck without flying in its tracks.

Use Fatal Frenzy prior to Fling if you have the chance, as this gives you the opportunity to take out multiple players at once (especially with Mana-Charged Dragon or a large-entering Kilnmouth Dragon).

Burninate the peasants.

Burninate the countryside.

Burninate all the people in the thatch-roofed cottages.

How to Play

Push mana. Receive Dragon. Enjoy dragon.

I've honestly found that Balefire is more effective, although most of the decks I play against are Legacy creature decks. Unless they have some way of bouncing it back to my hand or exiling it (I hate Oblivion Ring, by the way), I can prevent them from doing pretty much anything until I get a Fatal Frenzy and a Fling. At that point I can do 24 damage in a single turn, so it doesn't really matter.

Still, Kilnmouth can come in HUGENORMOUS if you're drawing into the right cards.
