Deck Description

ever wonder how to make good use out of Forbidden orchard? well here it is.

blood seeker and forbidden orchard. a match made in MTG heaven if I ever saw one. :)

fun sideboard card: Gather Specimens. how do you give yourself infinite creatures for free? Gather specimens states that all creatures that enter the battlefield this turn do so under your control, so... instead of giving you opponent infinite creatures and killing them that way, you get the creatures and then attack with as many 1/1 tokens as you want. :) OVERWHELMING POWER!!!!!!!!!!!! fun. :)

If I really wanted to I guess that I could turn this into a turn 1 deck, but those are boring to me.

as with all of my decks, comments and suggestions are welcome. :)

How to Play

turn one put out Forbidden Orchard and wind zendikon.
turn two put out blood seeker.
turn three put out intruder alarm.
turn four... kill your opponents by giving them infinite creatures.

the deck works by turning forbidden orchard into a creature, thus allowing it to untap with intruder alarm. incidentally you also get infinite mana from this as well. :) which you probably wont need but hey... it is there.

most of the other cards in the deck double as search cards, so if you don't have a perfect hand it shouldn't be too long before you get you combo pieces in play. and they are great support if you don't. can't be too careful in keeping your cards out on the field. :)

Deck discussion for killer apples

Clever! And I like the use of Transmute to tutor, I'm surprised I don't see more of it. (Also, is it just me, or does this deck inherently call to mind the "evil orchard" in Wizard of Oz?) :) Nicely done, +1.

yeah Transmute for tutor is very good IF you have something specific to tutor for. that being said it is harder to counter as it is ability, so I like it a lot. :) plus it is cheaper than most generic search cards. :)

This is amazing! I own an Orchard card, and always wondered how to use it to good effect. Awesome idea!

Yeah I am usually not a fan of forbidden orchard, but it's weakness becomes a tremendous strength in a deck like this. I am glad that you like it.

If you like odd but effective decks like this you might be interested in my deck called Leeched Lockdown. It should be close to the top of my first page.

Yes, I dont remember how I came about the card, but I keep it in a binder because I like the artwork... XD I've never used it.

I do like odd decks. I enjoy finding little quirky combos and weird abilities and building decks around them.
