Way to slow for competition but interesting idea. A+ for creativity! Land Destruction is most effective whens it quick! Aggro will have played out it's hand by the time this deck gets going and control will have, well, total control.

Yeah I figured it would still be really slow, but I have no idea on how to make it faster. I think I could also play really conservatively against control but that's kind of hard for me, I'm really impatient.
Maybe add some more mana-getting creatures like Civic Wayfinder. I'm assuming that you are wanting to get your Shard Phoenix card on the battlefield as soon as possible.
That or get your Wild Pair out there as well.
